On-site acoustic measurement and baseline assessment
We conduct reverberation time measurements, background noise surveys, and speech intelligibility tests using calibrated equipment at your existing or candidate premises. Results are mapped against Swiss SIA 181 and ISO 3382 targets for office environments.
Baseline assessment reports identify problem areas and quantify the improvement required, forming the technical foundation for layout and material recommendations.
Acoustic zoning integrated with spatial layout
Effective acoustic design begins with spatial separation, not just absorption panels. We define acoustic zones โ focus, collaboration, social, and phone โ with specified distance buffers, screen heights, and ceiling treatments documented on the layout drawing.
Each zone receives a target noise criterion (NC) rating and speech privacy index (PI) that contractors and suppliers must meet during fit-out.
Material and product specification for noise control
We specify ceiling tiles, wall panels, floor finishes, and desk screens with verified absorption coefficients and transmission loss values. Product selections are cross-referenced with budget constraints and aesthetic requirements from the interior design brief.
Material schedules include supplier references, unit costs in CHF, and installation notes for direct inclusion in tender documentation.

Video conference rooms receive dedicated acoustic modelling to predict speech transmission index (STI) values before construction, reducing costly post-completion remediation.
Post-occupancy verification and tuning
Acoustic performance should be verified after fit-out, not assumed from specifications alone. We return to completed projects to conduct follow-up measurements and identify any discrepancies between design intent and built outcome.
Post-occupancy verification visits are priced from CHF 2'400 per floor and include a remediation report with prioritised corrective actions if targets are not met.
